August 29, 2025 Eagle Family Update

Eagle Families,

What an incredible start to the school year! Our Eagles are already doing great things both in and out of the classroom. Last week, several of our students participated in the Hardin County Teen Court and represented Fort Knox with pride.

Inside the building, the learning environment has been vibrant—students are authentically engaged and eager to grow. This kind of success doesn’t happen without your continued support and involvement, or without our students’ drive to achieve excellence.

We thank you for being such an important part of our Eagle community!

As we settle into our routines, we’d like to take a moment to remind families about a few important items. First, please review our school dress code with your student to ensure they are in compliance each day. Dressing appropriately helps set a positive tone for learning and maintains a respectful school environment.

We have also noticed an increase in tardies, particularly to first period. Please help us emphasize the importance of being on time each morning, as every minute of instruction counts. In addition, we encourage families to remind students about the value of instructional time and the importance of transitioning promptly between classes to limit lingering in the hallways.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We truly have something special happening here at Fort Knox, and we’re grateful to have such a dedicated school community. Together, we’ll keep things soaring high in the Nest!

Progress Reports

Progress Reports will be published on Wednesday, September 3rd.  As a reminder, we offer Study Hall in the cafeteria every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45–3:45 P.M. It is a quiet and structured space to complete work or study. In addition, students should communicate with their teachers for any additional tutoring needs.
