Dissection Photo Gallery
Biology students at Fort Knox High School dissected bullfrogs and squid this week. The hands-on learning of dissection provides learning experiences very different from lecture or textbook lessons. Students see the organs of the animals in a way that deepens their understanding of anatomy. Many learners find learning much easier when they can physically dissect the animal. There is great benefit for many students as they learn about the organs as well as the techniques and safety of a laboratory.
